Wilson Wee Hopper

I saw this fly on the Fly Anglers Online website. It was a very interesting way of tying a hopper pattern when compared to way most hopper patterns are tied. The entire fly is tied at the mid-point of the hook! If you Goggle“Wilson Wee Creek Hopper you can watch Murray Wilson tie this pattern.

Hook – Dry Fly Hook (any size)

Thread – 8/0 to match color of hopper

Body – Foam cylinder – Yellow, Green, Tan

Wing – Polypro

Legs – Barred Centipede Legs
